Ayurvedic Deep Dive

Ayurveda is a natural system of medicine, originated in India more than 3,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Thus, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life.

In this 2 part workshop Michelle Mazur will give students in depth knowledge on various practices, and topics in the Aryuvedic system. The 2 part series will help give students a better understanding on how to prevent sickness, and steps to maintain their own health through creating balance in diet, herbs, and lifestyle.

The two-part course also includes a custom cleanse meant to do in spring time.

Topics Include:
– Modern Science verse Ayurveda; how it differs and compliments the ancient Ayurveda system
– A deep dive into the different Ayurvedic Dosha’s & Prakriti (balance) and how they apply to each individual to live a more a thriving, healthy life
– The particular foods to consume seasonally based on your Dosha for wellness and longevity
