Psychic Sleep Sound Meditation with Kari Jaffe

Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a deeply guided meditation where students can expect to travel through various states of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Nidra follows a protocol that combines deep body scans, super gentle breathing techniques and guided mental imagery. The goal of yoga nidra is to promote a profound state of relaxation, which differs from sleep, as there is still an awareness of one’s surroundings. Sound bowls will be played delicately throughout the nidra practice. After the guidance of nidra is complete, we will move directly into a deep sound bath that will continue to take you on an inner worldly journey through your personal universe. The entire class is offered in savasana and students can expect to leave feeling physically lighter and mentally lifted.
*recommended tools: mat, bolster, blanket, eye pillow/covering, head pillow.
