This 20-hour yoga teacher training offers an in-depth exploration of the subtle body anatomy, pranayama techniques and the chakra system. Designed to deepen your understanding of the energetic and spiritual aspects of yoga, this course will provide you with the tools to cultivate a holistic practice that integrates body, mind, and spirit. Ideal for yoga teachers and practitioners, this training will elevate your ability to teach and practice with a deeper awareness of the subtle energies that influence our health and well-being.

In this course, you will explore the energetic anatomy of the body, learning how prana (life force energy) flows through the nadis (energy channels) and is guided by the Vayus. You’ll also delve into the chakra system, understanding how each energy center influences physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Additionally, you’ll study the five Koshas, or layers of the self, and learn how to work with them to support holistic wellness.

Key components of the training include:

  • Subtle Body Anatomy: Understanding the flow of prana through the body and the interconnection between the physical, energetic, emotional, and spiritual bodies.
  • Vayus: Exploring the five Vayus (Prana, Apana, Samana, Udana, and Vyana) and their specific functions in controlling energy flow, digestion, elimination, and consciousness. Learn how to use asanas and pranayama to balance and activate these energies.
  • Pranayama: Understanding how breathwork can influence the movement of prana and the Vayus, enhance vitality, calm the mind, and promote healing in the body.
  • Chakra System: An in-depth look at the seven main chakras, their associated elements, colors, sounds, emotions, and how to activate, cleanse, and balance these energy centers through yoga and breath practices.
  • Koshas: Delving into the five layers of the self—Annamaya Kosha (physical body), Pranamaya Kosha (energy body), Manomaya Kosha (mental body), Vijnanamaya Kosha (wisdom body), and Anandamaya Kosha (bliss body)—and learning how to work with them in both practice and teaching to support overall health and well-being.
  • Energy Blockages: Identifying and releasing blockages in the energetic body through pranayama, asana, and meditation, helping to restore balance and vitality.
  • Practical Application: Integrating Vayus, pranayama, chakra work, and koshas into asana sequences, meditation, and mindfulness practices to create transformative experiences for your students.

By the end of this training, you will have a deeper understanding of how to work with the subtle body in your own practice and in your teaching. You’ll be equipped with the tools to guide your students through a holistic, energy-focused practice that fosters emotional balance, mental clarity, and physical vitality. This training is perfect for yoga teachers looking to expand their knowledge of the energetic and spiritual dimensions of yoga, and for anyone wishing to cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, healing, and connection.
