Have you ever been curious about the stories of the yoga poses ~ where they come from and how they can inspire you as a teacher of yoga?
Awaken your curiosity and have fun exploring the depths of the yoga tradition through storytelling and alchemical practices for the mind, body and heart. This is a mythic journey to learn the stories of the poses, yogic warriors, sages, seers, deities, gods, goddesses and archetypal energies.
Sianna will guide you with Tantric philosophy and an introduction to Sanskrit pronunciation for the names of asana, pranayama practices and other yogic terminology. You will learn stories of key yoga poses and how to incorporate these stories into class themes and creative sequences.
Each story holds key archetypal insights for our lives, where the stories come to life in a practical and inspiring way. In addition to yoga mythology, Sianna will also teach you mantras, mudras and techniques of Kundalini Shakti for the the full flow of energy in your body, mind and heart.
Each session will include teaching, storytelling and practice + Q&A + a super special kirtan event with Masood Ali Khan and friends + Sianna will guide you in hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming for your greatest success as a yoga teacher.
There will be focused time to ask Sianna your questions and she will share insights from more than 37 years of practice, 33 years of teaching and 23 years of leading teacher training courses.

Bio for Sianna Sherman
Sianna (she/her) is committed to being Love-In-Action here on earth to serve. For nearly three decades, she has been an international yoga teacher, training tens of thousands of students and yoga teachers from around the globe. As the visionary of the Rasa Yoga Collective, Mythic Yoga Flow®, and RITUAL, Sianna shares her voice in the way of community and collaboration. She is a gifted Storyteller, Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner, Ritualist and Shadow Work Guide. Through these gateways, she awakens the imagination through the language of the soul and supports a rich discovery of one’s own unique gifts.
She is dedicated to social justice activism, anti-racism, mantra, ritual, emotional intelligence, deep shadow work, Tantric yoga philosophy, and Celtic studies. She leads Rasa Yoga teacher training courses, Immersions on Yoga Mythology, Mantra and Mudra, and an in-depth course for women in a13-Moon Mystery School. Bio Masood Ali Khan
Masood (he/him) is one of the pioneers of singing mantras with the hand pan. He is a musician of prayer and a believer of love for the Earth and humanity. Masood offers a unique, musical performance as prayer, holding a ceremonial space with “Music as Medicine” for a meditative, uplifting experience. His music is a mesmerizing combination of the hand pans with sacred mantras, infused with the power of the heart and the mind’s healing potential to help humanity.
